Webanion is my full-time practice. I design and build AI-native platforms and the infrastructure that runs them, agent systems and the guardrails around them, MCP servers, multi-provider model routing, and durable orchestration for work that has to survive failure rather than restart from the beginning. The delivery stack is TypeScript end to end: NestJS and Node on the backend, Next.js, React and Vue on the front, React Native and Electron where a product needs to leave the browser, and self-hosted Kubernetes that I run and operate myself. I take on platform and AI engagements where the hard part is making the system reliable, not making it demo well.

Technical owner of architecture, infrastructure and technology direction for a platform around a thousand people use every day. Moved the entire live system off managed cloud hosting onto self-hosted Kubernetes with no recorded downtime: a hardened k3s cluster behind Traefik and a Cloudflare tunnel, per-service Kustomize manifests, gated production deploys and out-of-band secret management. A recurring cloud bill became infrastructure the business owns from DNS to disk. Three years on, the same architecture is still shipping without a rewrite, which is the real test of the early decisions.

Turned a delivered product into one that ships predictably. Consolidated seven codebases into a monorepo with a phase-based release workflow and CI/CD on GitHub Actions: path-filtered builds, automated per-surface versioning and tagging, and gated production deploys. Shipped Prebooked, an embeddable booking widget published to npm that turns any partner site, hand-built, WordPress or Wix, into a booking channel with one line of script. Alongside it a public documentation site, Google Maps trip integration, per-domain CORS management, and continuous store submissions on both platforms across four versioned platform releases.

Fewer, larger and longer engagements, with end-to-end product ownership rather than task work. A UK booking platform taken from MVP to production across forty milestones and still running. An eighteen-month product engagement delivered milestone by milestone, eleven accepted. One client relationship across five contracts and nearly three years. Paid architecture consultations for founders deciding how to build. The work spans mobile, web, desktop and infrastructure: React Native and Expo, Next.js and React, Electron, NestJS and Node, PostgreSQL and MongoDB, Docker and Kubernetes, and increasingly the AI and agent layer on top of it. Platform engineering on multi-tenant B2B SaaS: a shared-database architecture serving more than a thousand tenants with per-tenant credential isolation. Fine-grained authorisation modelled in OpenFGA across tenants, roles and resources. Durable workflow orchestration on Temporal so long-running jobs resume instead of losing state. Stripe subscription and metered billing. Kubernetes administration on GKE across staging and production, safe database migration design, and PostgreSQL query performance work through indexing and refactoring. TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, Vue 3 and PostgreSQL throughout, with the shared-database and release patterns adopted across the engineering organisation.
