About Md Moniruzzaman

Md Moniruzzaman

Senior Software Engineer — building AI-native platforms and the multi-tenant infrastructure that runs them.

In Brief

From a self-taught beginning to senior platform engineering — driven by deep ownership, real-world problem solving, and a commitment to software that holds up in production.

In 2015, I stumbled upon the incredible world of remote work, and after a lot of searching I realized that my true calling was in coding 😃. From that moment on, my journey became a continuous quest for knowledge. I started out wanting to be a web designer, but as I grew proficient there, I set my sights on backend development and the systems that bring real products to life.

The adventure only grew more exhilarating. From 2017 onward I built portfolio projects and explored freelance marketplaces, and quickly learned that simply building wasn't enough — what mattered was building things that lasted. So I embraced the path of lifelong learning. I mastered modern frontend frameworks like React, Next.js, and Vue, went deep into backend technologies and databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB, and then pushed further into the layers most developers never reach: distributed systems, container orchestration, cloud infrastructure, and the architecture that ties dozens of moving parts together so they stay reliable at scale.

My thirst for knowledge didn't stop there. I expanded into cross-platform mobile and desktop applications, and over the years grew into senior platform engineering — leading teams, owning shared database architecture, and running production infrastructure across staging and live clusters. Today my focus sits where product, distributed systems, and applied AI meet: architecting agent-first AI workflow platforms and the multi-tenant infrastructure that runs them. That means autonomous AI agents, durable workflow orchestration, fine-grained authorization across thousands of tenants, and cloud-native operations engineered to scale without breaking.

Whatever the stage — a raw idea, a struggling MVP, or a platform straining under real-world scale — I help teams turn it into something dependable, elegant, and ready for what comes next. I care as much about how software is built as what it does, because that's what separates a demo from a product people can rely on. If you're building something ambitious, I'd love to help you make it real — let's build something exceptional together!

Before We Connect

I believe in transparency from the start. I build practical, scalable solutions and work best with people who are ready to innovate, move fast, and create something exceptional. If that's you, we're already halfway there.

I don't have a CS degree from a renowned university — and that's not what I'm proud of. What I'm proud of is my ability to build whatever I can envision using modern technologies, despite coming from a Pharmacy major at Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka.

Md Moniruzzaman study on Pharmacy Major Jahangirnagar University

My choice of major was shaped by family circumstances, but my passion has always been programming. I started coding on an Android phone back in 2014 — writing my first programs on a tiny screen because that's all I had — got my first computer a year later, and have been committed to this field ever since. Although the early years left me little time to focus, from 2019 onward I fully dedicated myself to software engineering through relentless self-learning: reading source code, building real projects, breaking things, and rebuilding them better until the concepts were truly mine.

I may not answer every theoretical interview question from memory — I rarely rely on rote memorization, and I won't pretend otherwise. What I do instead is focus on truly understanding how things work and applying that understanding to solve real-world problems. When I'm faced with a challenge I haven't seen before, I research it, break it down, weigh the trade-offs, and build an effective solution through practical implementation and iteration. If that approach fits what you're looking for — someone who can take a problem from a blank page all the way to running in production — then we'll work well together.

I may not have all the textbook knowledge of a formal CS programme, but I have strong practical skills and deep, hands-on experience across every area in my skill set — from frontend and mobile to backend, databases, infrastructure, and applied AI. Years of shipping real products for real users have taught me the things no syllabus covers: how systems behave under load, how to make trade-offs you can defend, and how to keep software maintainable long after launch day.

Building with AI

Past exploring — I build with AI every day, creating autonomous agents and AI-driven automation on top of solid systems engineering.

Artificial Intelligence is rapidly transforming the technology landscape, and fusing it with strong systems engineering is where I've focused my craft. Over the years I built a deep foundation in full-stack development, mobile and web platforms, backend systems, and cloud infrastructure. A few years ago I wrote that I was exploring AI — I'm well past exploring now. I build with it daily.

My work centers on autonomous agents and AI-driven automation: systems where large language models don't just answer questions but take actions, run durable multi-step workflows, call tools through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), and route intelligently across multiple model providers such as AWS Bedrock, OpenAI, and Claude.

How I Apply AI in Real Work

I architect agent-first AI workflow automation platforms — autonomous agents and durable orchestration running on multi-tenant infrastructure that serves thousands of tenants. The real leverage isn't any single model; it's the platform around it: the orchestration, the guardrails, the authorization, and the engineering discipline that makes AI features reliable in production instead of impressive demos.

That same approach powers practical, applied AI: intelligent automation that handles repetitive operational work, AI assistants that answer customer questions and act on them, automated document and data extraction that turns screenshots or emails into structured records in seconds, and predictive features that surface smart suggestions from historical data.

I bring this to product ideas too — from forecasting and pricing intelligence trained on historical data, to personal tools like goal trackers that suggest achievable targets and expense trackers that predict budgets and warn of overspending. Wherever there's data and a decision, there's room for AI to make the experience smarter.

The Vision Ahead: with the ability to span product, infrastructure, and AI — across web, mobile, and desktop — I want to keep building intelligent, agent-driven platforms that are reliable, secure, and ready for scale. This fusion of solid engineering with applied AI is, I believe, where the most important software of the next decade will be built.
