Terms of use

These terms cover how you may use this website, what it publishes, and the MCP server it runs for AI assistants. Using the site means you accept them.

Who runs this site

I am Md Moniruzzaman, and Webanion is the name I work under. I am based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and I run this site. What it does with personal data is set out in the privacy notice; these terms cover everything else.

Using the site

You can read the site, link to any page and share it, without an account and without asking. Please do not:

  • try to reach anything that is not public, such as drafts, the admin or other people’s data;
  • overload the site or the MCP server, or try to get around the limits that protect them;
  • use the contact form, the newsletter or the MCP server to send spam, to pretend to be someone else, or to send anything unlawful;
  • copy the site and present it as yours or as anyone else’s.

I can block traffic, messages or access that does any of these.

The content, and who owns it

The writing, the case studies, the images I made for them and the design of the site are mine, and I keep the copyright in them.

Many case studies show products I built for clients or for companies I worked with. Those products and their names belong to those clients and companies, and the screenshots appear here as a record of the work I did on them.

Client names, logos and testimonials belong to those clients. They appear as references to work I did for them, and do not mean a client endorses anything else on the site. If you are one of those clients and want your name, logo or words taken down, email me and I will remove them.

Other product names and trademarks on the site belong to their owners.

What you may do with it

You are welcome to:

  • read it, and quote parts of it with a link to the page you quoted;
  • let search engines crawl and index it;
  • let AI systems read it, use it to answer questions, and train on it.

That is the permission the site gives machines in its robots.txt, where every group of crawlers reads Content-Signal: search=yes, ai-input=yes, ai-train=yes.

One exception: a small number of articles are kept out of AI use. The robots.txt asks AI crawlers not to fetch them, their pages carry a noai robots tag, and they are left out of llms.txt, the markdown versions and the MCP server. They stay open to readers and to search engines. Please respect those markers.

Beyond that, ask me before you republish a whole article, case study or image, use one to promote something, or present it as your own work.

The MCP server and the versions for software

Besides its pages, the site publishes versions of itself for software: llms.txt and llms-full.txt, a markdown version of each article, case study and role, a feed, a sitemap, and a public MCP server at mcp.webanion.com, which the MCP guide describes and /.well-known/mcp.json announces. What the section above says about the content applies to whatever they return.

Anyone can use the MCP server without signing in, and signing in, or registering for an API key, opens the rest of it. When you use it:

  • stay within the limits the guide states, and do not try to get around them or around the difference between anonymous and signed-in access, for example by registering many addresses or sharing a key;
  • a sign-in or a key is personal to whoever verified it: use it yourself, or for the assistant or agent you run, and do not share or sell it;
  • messages you send through the server carry your verified name and address, so send only what you would sign;
  • if the server is abused, I can revoke a sign-in or a key and block the person behind it, without notice.

The server is free, and it can change, pause or stop at any time.

The blog is information, not advice

The articles share what I know and what has worked for me. They are general information, not professional, legal or security advice for your situation, and they can go out of date. Check before you rely on one.

If an article walks you through installing or activating software, that software’s own licence applies. Make sure you have the right to use it, and follow its terms.

Careers

A role on the careers page describes work I want to hire for. It invites applications; it is not an offer of work, and a rate shown on it is a guide. Nothing is agreed, and no work begins, until we have both signed a written agreement.

What happens to an application is set out in the privacy notice.

Working with me

What the site and the MCP server say about my services, the ways we can work together, and prices or rates describes how I usually work. It is not an offer, and any figure is indicative.

Each engagement is governed by its own written agreement with me, or by the terms of the platform it runs through, such as Upwork. That agreement, not this site, sets the scope, the price, who owns the work and everything else about it.

The site links to other sites: live products in the case studies, clients’ and companies’ own sites, and the platforms I work through. I do not control them, and their own terms and privacy policies apply. A link is not an endorsement of everything on the other side.

No warranty, and the limits of my liability

I work to keep the site accurate and running, but I offer it, its content and the MCP server free of charge and as they are, without any promise that they are complete, current, free of errors or always available.

As far as the law allows, I am not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using the site or the MCP server, or from relying on what they say, including indirect loss, lost profits and lost data.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes a liability that the law does not allow to be limited or excluded, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Nor do they take away any right you have as a consumer that the law says cannot be taken away.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and a dispute about them goes to the courts of Dhaka. If you use the site as a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in, and you can bring a claim in its courts where those laws allow it.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and the new version applies from then on. A change here does not alter an engagement that already has its own agreement.
